El Confital beach also known locally as Horno beach is one of a few beaches that is animal friendly. This beach is made of grey sand and can be found by Montana Roja in El Medano. As well as being animal friendly this area is well known for surfing , especially at low tide when the waves form beautifully against under water rock formations.
