El Socorro Beach

El Socorro beach is the surfers favorite to the North of Tenerife. The surf breakers are quite far out in the sea so swimmers and surfers are able to use the same area safely.

Awarded a Blue Flag for quality services and cleanliness this beach is family friendly and has unbeatable views up the coastline. This beach is made of volcanic black sand and is in the area of Los Realejos.

• Width: 60 m (200 ft).
• Composition: Fine grey sand.
