Yes, it’s open all year long. In Winter it closes at 17:00.
It may be closed due to adverse weather conditions.

Does the cable car depart punctually?

Since the operation of the Cable Car is subject to the changing weather (wind speed, temperature, etc.), on occasions, the estimated boarding time may be delayed.

What happens if the Cable Car closes due to adverse weather conditions?

Your online reservation is valid for one year and you can modify or cancel it at any time at manage your booking.

Can children under 3 go up by Cable Car?

Yes, although it is not recommended at all due to a higher risk of altitude sickness.
You wouldn’t have to buy/book a ticket for a child under 3.
However, if you decide to go up with a child under 2, you will have to sign a document at the base station, in which you accept all responsibility.
